When she slipped and made a mistake she simply flipped over and erased the mistake and tried again. Usually something even better came after that mistake. No shame, just creative flow. She felt special as the original creator. She also felt responsible to create important things all the time.
At night she rested, often lying on top of one of her works in progress, planning for the next day’s work. With each day she grew more intentional about doing great things. She was inspired to make the world a beautiful place with her creations! As the months went on she took her responsibilities very seriously.
And then her creativity stopped. Try as she might she could not get up and move across the page. She tried to wiggle. Nothing. She tried to roll. Nothing. Nothing worked. Suddenly, her life seemed so hard and without any purpose. She wore herself down and as a result, her creations were not as sharp and they lacked her signature crispness. She was not as sharp, it was as if she’d lost focus.
Suddenly she found herself in a most terrifying situation. She felt like she was being ripped apart and thought ‘this must be what dying is’. The situation passed and she found the experience had sharpened her. Her point was sharp again and she created work that was once again crisp and bright.
